Throwback - Steeler Painting

So before I moved to Mississippi (Kris was down here for about 6-7 weeks before I was able to come down), I tried to make sure to spend as much quality time with family and friends as I could. One of those adventures was taking a "Painting with a Twist" class with my Mom and some of her friends. A huge thank you to Diane, who graciously offered to let me come along! As many of you may know, neither my Mother nor I are artistically inclined in the least. In fact, we are lucky if we can draw a stick figure that is recognizable. So we figured we might be stretching our abilities a bit but it sounded fun. The concept of the class is that you can bring your own food and drink (adult and non-adult) and they provide all the painting equipment and an instructor. You can sign up based on what the painting for the night will be and given that we were in Pittsburgh chose a Steeler's theme painting. Ironically it also turned out our teacher for the night was now the art teacher at one of the middle schools I attended! Small world! Anyways I thought this was an appropriate throwback post as the Steelers are currently in San Diego ready to demolish the Chargers tonight on Monday Night Football! GO STEELERS!!!!
