Easter 2011!!

So since I'm about 2 months behind on some posts I apologize that this is going slightly out of order!!! I was cleaning off one of my memory cards and realized I never put up a post about Easter this past year so I figured late is better than never....

Easter weekend was fun as always...Saturday we made a trip out to the barn to see Rocket who sadly was in a little bit of a cranky mood...this photo says it all....

However we did learn about the new baby at the barn and we got some cute pictures of him!! I think in this picture he is about 6 weeks old..........

Saturday night we got to spend some family time together dying easter eggs...here are some of our favorites :)

I called this the "Mommy and Me" egg

I also got to make the Bunny Bread for the first time and it turned out surprisingly okay :)

The next day after church it was time to find baskets...you would think after living in this house for almost 20 years the bunny would be running out of spots to hide our baskets however this year it took me over an hour to find my basket. My dad also had a difficult time finding his and so in the middle of looking we had a pout-fest :)

After we did all *finally* find our baskets it was time to bring over the whole gang (ie Meg and Greg) for Bunny Games....the bunny did a good job with game planning this year which included an Egg Bocce game as well as a good old fashioned pinata (among other games)

Lastly we ended the weekend with a wonderful Sunday Dinner including an amazing centerpiece made of course by Mommy :)
