Father's Day Weekend!

So the week after our anniversary I went to Pittsburgh for a belated Father's Day celebration. I had lots of fun that weekend and I got to catch up with tons of friends, some of whom I see regularly and some I haven't seen in years! Of course I fit in a visit out to the barn where I was impressed with Rocket's behavior since he has a new bridle (his old one went m.i.a....). My present to my dad (which I'm sure will be a post in a few weeks) were tickets to see a Pirates game in August while sitting in the all-you-can eat section...which has been a dream of my father's ever since they started offering that option. Any of you who know how my Father can eat knows that PNC Park will definitely lose money on that section during the game! Another favorite present of his was the addition of a "fire feature" to our back deck.... can you tell he's been spending some time watching the DIY network? Needless to say there are no boy scouts in our family so fire building is not our expertise which explains some of the smokey pictures below. Here's to the new fire pit!
