HersheyPark!

So I've always loved HersheyPark and I got really excited last spring (2011) when Jake's school was offering half price tickets. Needless to say I snatched up two of them for Kris and I. Our summer ended up being so packed that it was Labor Day weekend before we got a chance to go up. We had a really great time and I think our favorite part was the water park which is pretty amazing. We did learn that our ride preferences differ somewhat so I'm not sure how many more pure amusement parks we will go to together but it was worth the trip! Some other highlights included a Sea World-esque seal show, a visit to ZooAmerica (included with your park ticket,) and Kris's *attempt* to win me a Penn State Basketball. My 6'3" husband who used to play basketball with his friends couldn't win me the prize I wanted; what made it funny was that as we walked around we saw lots of people who clearly had won the game and chose the PSU basketball....needless to say I teased him for a while about that one! Of course we ended the night with a visit to the Chocolate Factory....besides Sarris's that must be my favorite place :)
