So every year Kris and I carve our own pumpkins. While neither of us are artistically inclined Kris's attention to detail normally means his pumpkin ends up looking significantly better than mine. If we got trick or treaters (maybe next year!) then of course we would carve the day before Halloween however since we don't get any at the apartment (despite the year I bought 4 HUGE bags of candy from BJ's...needless to say it got turned into an easter pinata) we carved pumpkins on Halloween night this year.
